People with disabilities are the direct line workforce. They are assisted and trained by Work Service Supervisors who direct production and maintain quality standards in addition to performing rehabilitation duties. GENESIS DEVELOPMENT utilizes this direct line work force to provide a wide variety of subcontract services to businesses.

Because of the wide range of skill levels within our workforce, we are specially certified by the Department of Labor to pay our people based on productivity. Base wage rates are determined by an annual survey of local businesses to insure our wages are commensurate. 

Our work force is augmented with non-disabled production workers and production supervisors as required to meet specific requirements.

We believe the best way to help someone learn to work is through real work. Real work is meaningful and provides a sense of pride, accomplishment, self worth and independence. Each of our people is assisted in learning basic work skills including attendance, promptness, safety, receiving and following instructions, displaying initiative, and time-on-task. Interpersonal skills such as honesty, accepting correction and direction, requesting assistance, and working as a team are also developed. 

Our bonded facility includes 100,000 sq. ft. of production area, semi-height receiving and shipping docks, material handling equipment, and single and three phase electrical and pneumatic capabilities. All inventories are covered by Genesis insurance. For long term projects we will install your equipment or invest in project-specific equipment in our facility.
